Flyers had chances to blow this open, turnover in red zone and a dropped td. Scott county no easy out. Flyers were very physical at times, many scott county players limping out and cramping down the stretch. Buddy collins has a nice run, then went out with a hamstring maybe. But flyers were dominant in the three phases.

Complete domination by Franklin County. This score should have been a lot worse. Good luck to both teams.

Franklin Co has some very good talent on this team, their biggest issues IMO were QB and defense, and it was more about just about things reaching the point of clicking and gelling well.

I said earlier if Franklin Co defense could hold teams to 1 or 2 scores until their offense catches up early in the season they would be a dangerous team to face.

I picked Scott Co to win (in 2 overtimes) mainly on the point above and it being the first game of the season.  Franklin proved they are ready to go.

I look at Franklin Co this year as the team that sole purpose is to create havoc in 4A this year come playoff time, should be fun.

I thought this game was a toss up. Franklin really made Scott Co. look bad. They definitely look like they are headed for at least the Semi's again.

I know FC has a good squad, I just didn't think they would out physical Scott - not a lot of people do. Kids from FC should be commended for that. I read that SC had some kids go down this game early as well so i'm sure that didn't help. But that excuse may not resonate with most when you're a big boy school.

I think Scott will be fine but this is certainly a wake up call

I thought Scott County was impoving buy I was wrong... Smile

There is no denying that the Flyers have a good thing going. Franklin Co keeps knocking on the door. It looks like they may eventually kick the door in.

FC, needs to stay grounded. I dont think you can judge much on first game out..

I think Franklin is a very well coached team. They are always tough come playoff time.

Did Scott Co have some out from ejections in their playoff loss last season? Either way, very impressed with the Franklin Co win.
