Mercer County 41 Danville 0
#1
Final.

The run of futility continues!

Seriously, this is just NOT Danville Admirals football. The offense is putrid, only able to get 75 yards until the running clock hit. And Mercer would've probably hit that running clock earlier if Baughman hadn't suffered that terrible injury. Took a while for Mercer to adjust but once they found a groove the Ads were toast.

Ads have been shutout the last two weeks. Next week's game might be more competitive with Knox Central, which might be the Ads best chance at a win this year.

I have always hated Danville, for obvious reasons, but it’s actually sad to see that storied program fall to where it has. I hope that don’t happen to mayfield

Unfortunately, all it takes is some terrible admin hires. Danville did all of this damage to itself.

Wow!!!!! Tale of two schools in that county.

When I read on twitter that a coach quit last night , I wondered if Danville could have gotten that lucky.

And it’s not to wish anything against the coach but for the bleeding to stop in Danville.

The past two weeks speak volumes. I feel horrible for the kids.

What a shame. How do you think the Knox Central game will go? I don't see a victory, but I agree that it might be the closest Danville comes.

I think it might present Danville more opportunities offensively BUT this Knox Central team is on a 2-game win streak. They also upset Somerset a few weeks ago, who a lot of people expect to win Danville's district. Last year the Danville-Knox game was a 50-40 affair, so very little defense. I'm not sure what weapons Knox has but Danville's defense might keep them in it for a while. The problem for the Ads is an offense that has no identity. They've played 3 players at QB and their most prolific playmaker in Trinden Sellers arguably doesn't get enough touches. If the Ads can somehow work this out, I think they have a chance.

So I don't expect a running clock like the last few weeks but the Ads are still an underdog going into the game.
