How did the RPI perform. Listed are the classes and the RPI number of those teams in each class. What are your thoughts on the RPI after looking at this?

Not bad. I feel Lex Cath and Highlands most under rated from the start.. Cov Cath I feel was better than a 7 ( even before beating Boyle).

Here’s the thing…RPI has sucked in the regular season rankings for sure. But the in the years it’s been used, it’s gotten pretty damn close come the semifinal games. I am going to stop paying any attention to it until the regional round. Take care of business however you see fit. At the end of the day no ranking matters except who is left standing the first weekend of December.

Cal preps is much more accurate imo in 2a it has LCA beechwood Owensboro catholic mayfield at number 4 and Somerset at number 5. It has a great accuracy rate. The RPI some teams can manage to rig the RPI and get artificially higher than they really are but I do like it better than the old system
