FINAL — Harlan County 66, Lloyd Memorial 57 (AIT Quarters)
#1
It was the Maddox Huff show. Didn’t even play up to his normal standards in the first half and still had around 30.

Anthony Blaackar of Lloyd Memorial really impresses me. Huff and Walker are D-I talents but I think Blaackar will be too. Doesn’t have the height that those two do, but he’s fluid, can play both guard spots at 6-2 and can score at all three levels.

Harlan County faces Ashland tomorrow night at Anderson Gym at 7 p.m. with winner playing either Danville Christian or Fleming County in championship game.

Lloyd Memorial plays Walton-Verona in consolation bracket at 4 p.m.

Maddox Huff took over the 2nd half for sure, but his supporting cast all pitched in some critical buckets and showed a whole lot of grit and heart!! Great comeback win by the Bears over a strong Lloyd Memorial team..

This AIT is stacked with strong teams, both semifinal games should be dandies! HC vs Ashland should be a fun game to watch..

I just watched the game on YouTube. I'm too old to watch an 8:30 game and stay awake for the finish!
HC couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a base fiddle the first half, but I'm so impressed that they never gave up and fought like a black bear to get back in the game.
Anthony Blaackar reminds me of Reggie Cottrell with his type of play and his effort. I love to watch two teams with dedicated players like these had, battle in the game.

Congratulations Black Bears!!!
