I'd flip Estill and Wolfe. Other than that its pretty spot on.
#3
I would put Wolfe at 1 and keep it like it is.
#4
I agree with Strikeout King, Estill won last match up

Not sure you can put a lot into that last Estill win as Wolfe definitely threw off that game. Threw two pitchers they typically don’t throw.

Estill didn't throw their ACE either.

Difference in Wolfes team though when those two arms throw for them versus two kids that hardly ever pitch. I’m not sure Drake isn’t Estill’s top pitcher but if not he’s definitely their second best.

Niece is Estill's best.
Aanxious to see how Estill does when they go to Campton here in a few weeks.

Bryce Drake has been Estills best this year. Posting 9Ks against GRC , and throwing in other big games including Wolfe Co.

Wolfes started that game is the very bottom of the rotation then came in with a freshman that claimed his first varsity innings on the mound. Wolfes definitely the overall better team, i still take the Dawgs or Wolfe Co. winning it all this year.

Even though Wolfe pitched two kids outside their top four pitchers, they were tied 1-1 going into the top of the 6th. If Wolfe took the lead in the 6th, they would have sent out someone different to hold the lead. Either way, if Drake is not their #1, then he's awful close. Wolfe still should have done a better job hitting the ball.. Regular season games in region are like chess games, don't show them a lot during the season.. Wait until tournament time

And Estill beats #23 GRC and Wolfe County and still doesn't get any respect.

Wolfe and Hazard should meet this weekend for the first time this year in the All A Finals, should be a good game to tell where both teams stand as it will be more like a post season game rather than a regular season game.

To this point in the season, top 3 you posted have started the best and deserve those spots & probably interchangeable right now. A lot of baseball left to play and teams will lose games they shouldn’t and seems a lot of “throwing off” in region as well, but the top 5 are region contenders for sure though no one can be overlooked come region time. Perry has played better than I thought with all their changes but we all know Meehan can coach.
#14
I feel Estill, Hazard, and Wolfe have been the most consistent to start the season. Cannot overlook anyone beyond that though. Like mentioned above the All A is this week. Wolfe plays Knott which should be a good one. Hazard has Leslie. Not sure what bracket looks like but Breathitt is in there somewhere. We may have a better idea of the top spot after this week with the All A.

And are defending region champions…

All A will tell alot and then throw in estill & letcher, going to make an interesting regional tournament for sure. And you can’t count out Perry with Meehan as well.

The Meehan Magic is real, I’ve witnessed it multiple times

So how about Powell County? Frank on the hot seat?

Have seen him win a lot and not have a true contending team until tournament time. Not a team I would want to play in tournament time. And even if they don't become that team this year, they will sooner than later. He always gets results from his teams regardless of talent.

Was the team to beat all year last year and didn't get it done. This year has been a struggle since day one. I could see it warming up.

Powell and Estill 2-2 top 3rd. Wireman throwing for the Pirates and Friend for the Engineers.
#21
Powell leads Estill 6-4 going to bottom of 6.
#22
Powell brings in Knox to try and close it out. Estill with 2 on 1 out in the 6th.
#23
Powell replaces Knox with Dicken. Runners on corners for Estill. 1 out. Powell leads 6-5.
#24
Powell 6-4 going to bottom of 6.

RBI single. Powell 6-5.

Dicken walks in the tying run with a bases loaded walk. 6-6.

RBI ground out. Estill 7-6.

Strikeout with runners in scoring position ends the 6th and the Estill rally.

Top 7th we go.

I would say that Frank's seat just got a little hotter.

Hazard beat Breathitt 12-4 last night in the All A semifinals. Breathitt was up 2-0 early and I think 3-2 before Hazard opened it up in the 5th. Tonight Knott and Hazard play for the All A Championship.
#27
Hazard beat Knott in the All A championship 8-4.
