Final from the All A in Hindman

Who pitched for Wolfe? I would assume Napier threw for Knott. Looks like from the score it was a good one. Just another reason we can't for certain pick one team to be on top of the region.

Hollon had a tough inning or two allowing those runs and Wolfe couldn’t rally back from them although they were early in the game.

Good win for Knott. Wolfe may not be what some on here think they are. Still a good team but not elite. Interested to see the rest of the all a.

Heard for the past couple years how Wolfe was the team to beat. Until they get it done I refuse to hear anymore of it. Hazard and Estill are clear top 2 teams in the region.

Knott, with Napier on the mound is good enough to beat anyone in the region in a one game scenario. Not sure what they have behind him.

Wolfe needs someone to control pitchers. I love Bink but baseball is a chess game. A lot different from softball with moving parts.
Pitch calling by Wolfe was very questionable and some players/parents entitlement is hard to look past. Wolfe has the pieces but they expect to win it this year because it’s “there time”.
But someone else made a valid point. Since Covid the team who wins the All A has yet to win region.

One game doesn't define a team or the season. We are quick to judge a team based on one game . It's been stated several times that any of the top teams can win one game because of a pitcher. Looking at the stats Hollon had one bad inning , the 3rd. After that Knott didn't come close to scoring. Wolfe out hit Knott, but didn't get the hits they needed when it counted. They had a bad base running error in the top of the 7th, otherwise the score would have been tied. The Napier kid threw 105 pitches compared to Hollon's 76.... but that's baseball

Wolfe and hazard are still the best teams this year. Estill’s pitching will keep them in it as well as Knott but Wolfe and Hazard are the overwhelming favorites when they play up to their potential
