Coach Little  19-11 season was a testament to his dedication and growth, especially after a 13-19 debut. He built a strong foundation, fostered team chemistry, and showcased impressive depth with a 10-girl rotation. His ability to connect with each player and develop their skills was truly commendable. Given the momentum he'd built, it's surprising to see them put triplet back at the helm I would at gave the 15th region coach of the year at least one more

Yes. He will be stepping into the AD role at FC.

Was it his choice to step down? Or did they just replace him?

Ty needs to get out of there, ASAP.

I’d love to have him at Pburg. Seems like a great guy, young, and I’m sure he’d fit in great. I’d like to think Coach Kidd would have a place for him on his staff and he’d make a great addition to the track team as well with Jamerson.

Coach little would be a great addition any where. Why he step down or was let go I have no clue. I love to see him back coaching soon.

I can’t imagine a coach who had a successful first season and was coach of the year would willingly step away from that position.

Coach Little had a record of 19-11 and I believe this was his second season. Triplett was their first Coach after combining 3 school and only won 2 districts and that was in 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 and then nothing. So I don’t understand why let little go.

I don't know why either, but it doesn't look good from the outside looking in. Maybe there's a logical explanation as to why, but I'm leaning more toward it wasn't Little's decision at all.

There isn’t. What I’m told is he was essentially handed the AD job to help offset the blow from getting the girls job taken from him. Now I like both Jut and Tyler so I’m impartial here but it doesn’t sound good as to what happened.

So let me get this right a coach steps down after 4/5 of his best scorers graduate. Then a coach steps in only returning 1 starter has a little bit of a down season going 13-19 and then turns it around and gets coach of the year going 19-11. Then loses his job and the original coach who stepped down just gets his job back out of nowhere.
Floyd county is garbage and I have no dog in this fight could care less. But it is a poor reflection how politics play such a role in who gets to coach.

Anyone can look like a good coach if you get to pick and choose when you coach.

Lose your top players step down. Younger players get better start winning, take job back ?? pure BS

They’re gonna find you now for exposing them. The Empire (Floyd County) will strike back!

This is crazy. Feels like they've fired and replaced every coach over there at this point, good season or bad didn't seem to matter. If I was a parent over there I'd be getting my kids out of this mess, and quickly. They obviously care more about the buddy system and putting people in spots in return for political support than the care about doing what's best for those kids! It's shameful behavior for people who claim to be all for the kids. What a joke! I wish Pburg would/could go independent and get out of the dumpster fire that is the Floyd Co BOE.

Spoke to a few parents at state track, Little told them he was offered to stay as girls coach or become AD.  Has ambition to be admin one day so chose the latter and then asked former coach from inside the building if he would want to run it back.  Little was recommended for the job initially by Triplett as he was on staff 3 tears ago……maybe Little chose what he felt was best for his family

If this is 100% then that’s good for Jut and Tyler. But the way it went down kind of messed all of us up. But like I said if this is the truth then I’m fine with it.

This is not true. The AD position is not open. He had no choice. He definitely, 1000 percent did not ask Triplett to take back the team that he worked so hard to build. C'mon now.

Matter of fact I ask coach little about the ad job and he said that was a typo On wymtv part and he wasn’t no ad. So he was either lied too in order to make him resign or they played the buddy card for triphett.

Little was deemed “Assistant to the AD”

Director of Gameday Management.

Just a job to give him so they could replace him.
