Lawrence started hitting Duty. Pikeville never really could get their bats going.

Pikeville has never been a great hitting team But I am very surprised that Lawrence beat them. The 2 coaches in the 15 region that you never count out is Travis Feltner and Shawn Hall.

The tough schedule has helped Lawrence in games like this. Duty was solid early on, retired 10 straight I believe then Eli Fletcher roped a single and it seemed like that woke up the bats for LC. A huge 2 out, 2 run hit by freshman Gray Derifield to get the win.

Was very impressed with the Derifield kid, both offensively and defensively. He made some very heady plays at SS for a young kid. Congrats to Lawrence!
Region champs in basketball and could win baseball and softball as well. Been a solid sports year in Louisa.

I have to say Duty got tired and I figured they would’ve brought someone in the last inning but he is the best pitcher in the region u got to roll with him It’s been a great run. Congrats to the winners
