Ive got to agree. That student section is definitely one of the best in the region. They've always got someone down there getting the rest of the crowd into the game. It should be an interesting district tournament!!!

Keep an eye on the student section for the district tournment. They should be a big advantage to Powell County. The students are very classy. They do really good but dont go to far...although the refs hear it quite a bit. LOL

I agree...Powell co has one of the top student sections in the region and that will help them come district tourney time

I dont know of anyone kickin a opponent while they were down

"A Powell player and Wolfe's point guard were going for a loose ball and slid to the side in front of a group of Powell fans( These looked to be highschool girls). One of the girls kicked the wolfe player in the head three times. He had to leave the game briefly due to blurred vision. I had previously heard that powell fans were rude but this went way beyond what is acceptable!"

From the Feb. 19th game vs Wolfe. I don't know if it is true, just that it had been mentioned. I can personally attest that the Powell Co fans aren't reputed to be the most sportsmanlike in the area.

Please tell me what you call an act where the fan kicks a player in the head. I never heard any say it was an accident. Classless may be a little of an understatement.
