Cory Brewer gets the win against a pretty decent Clark County team. He only gave up 2 hits in a complete game effort. Bats were rolling for the Pirates against one of the 10th Region top pitchers Evan Bennett, then after the third innnig Coach Allison started bringing in some relief to help them out but Powell continued to put the ball in play. Clark had a few chances to score and get base runners on but Powell's defense played excellent. 2b and LF made some outstanding plays to keep runners off base. As well as freshman 3b Morgan Reed. Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season.
