probably SV, but I am anxious to see how the exciting new coach at ER does with his very young team.
#6
I am very interested in seeing how ER's new coach does in his first game ever as a head coach. This game is a toss up in my eyes seeing how ER has been since its inception and considering what SV has lost over the past couple of years.
#7
Valley should be able to take this by 2+ touchdowns.

Best of luck to both!

I think it is either phelps or hurley

750+ enrollement school playing a 200 or less enrollment school.....How do you get better in this situation..No offense but seem's to me your AD is just trying to stack a morale booster for the new coach...Depending on "who" shows up on Saturday could be a humbling experience and blow up in there face...AAA vs A lol....WTH..
#15
SV should take this one rather easily.
#16
Attendance wise East Ridge should be a powerhouse but they have never had a dominating team. You would seriously think otherwise but it really never happens. I would love for it though but...

#17
East Ridge will surprise a lot of people this year. They have a whole new level of football.

Shelby Valley by as many as Saunders wants to lay on them....

ER won both scrimmages. The first scrimmage against Hurley wasn't completely scored. If the entire scrimmage was recorded, the final would have been 14-8 ER on top. They also agreed with Appalachia to scrimmage and the score was 8-0 ER. Appalachia was 6-5 last year. Although not on the W/L column, ER has allready experienced more sucess this year than last. I think things are changing on the hill.... this may get very interesting.

Looking through blue and white glasses it may appeared as what you wrote.
Looking from where I was setting I saw a small single A school from Hurley knock you all over the field....Show me something in a few weeks and maybe I'll believe different.

I don't see why everyone counts on how many students are enrolled. Yeah, I understand about the classes but you don't look at how good other sports from those same schools are by how many students they have.

Your right. Who would have figured that a smaller school 1/4 the size of ER could open a can like that.....go figure...

IMO Saunders D cant stop Allens O. This game is gonna be a dog fight to the end. But I'm sticking with my orginal pick and say ER wins 34-28

Actually Cut Blocking is illegal out of a 2 point stance. So I dont think ER will be doing that anymore. And out of the two games I have see ER play they have never double team anyone.

They double teamed the left tackle of Hurley every play in there scrimmage...the OT would cut the OG would engage him also..illegal whatever stance your in....I dont blame them for double teaming him but you cant cut and do that you"ll ruin somebodys knee and nobody wants that....You guys have some athletes, the O line is big and strong enough to man up they dont have to cut...Just a lazy way to block in my opinion. But to each there own...
