Prestonsburg will have to travel to face the Wildcats of Shelby Valley. If the Blackcats win this one they'll capture there second straight district championship.

valley will give an exciting game but to many non healthy players, Pburg will start to pull away sometime in the 2nd half

Every year we hear the same thing: Shelby Valley in an upset, SV is better than Pburg this year, and somehow that Pburg cheated when they won. So, i am going to go with the same conclusion every year: Prestonsburg with the victory!

I agree with what you are saying. Valley gets hyped every year and every year is supposed to be the year they beat Pburg. I dont see Valley even keeping this one close.

I am going to say Pburg by 4 tds. However, I don't remember hearing Valley peoople complain every year about getting cheated like was stated earlier. Pburg is a football school and Valley is a basketball school. The difference in both sports is about the same.

haha this is actually kind of funny, one story that really sticks out in my mind! Last year it was either in regular season or playoffs, but it rained from Saturday night until that Friday night that pburg and SV played. SV was getting beat and all I remember a crew of SV fans saying was, "This isnt fair, Pburg watered the field!" Need I remind you that it rained for 6 straight days!

lol I remember this one, and I believe they also said the field smelled like river water or somthing. Sorry not everybody has turf and when it rains a grass field gets muddy.

I'm really trying to figure out if you people who picked SV are die hard fans who just can't pick against your home team, or if you just don't know anything about football. May I remind you that Bath County beat SV 14-12.
Prestonsburg tried to give the game away at Bath County and still dominated! Without one of the best backs in the state (Mr. Craynon) even playing. P-burg is finally healthyand they are playing their best football. I don't think I've seen a more dominating performance than the "Burg" had against Pikeville and Cooper. If not for a 50 yd run by Harmon in the 4th qtr of the Pikeville game, the Panthers would have had a total of about 40 yds.
I say Setser and Craynon score three TDs each in a blowout! 56-6.
I see P-burg in the Semis on Dec. 5th.

yea i think most people remember the 4 interceptions and the fumble that Valley gave to them ? haha should of been about 40-14

It's very similar to what we hear every year about how Prestonsburg is improved in basketball, and then every year it is the same mediocre team...
I think Prestonsburg will win this one something like 38-6...
