How will they do?

The potential is there- we'll just have to wait and see how everything else plays out.

all ready an AC 09 post started on 3/4. I think it is on page 2 or 3.

If every one stays at AC i think could possibly be the number one seed in the district.

they could be a set of horses and run through the district but thats all i think

It sounds like AC may have a pretty strong year.

The Rebels should return a pretty good group of Seniors. Most of this group has been starting 2 years for AC. If they work hard in the off season and improve not only their strength but their speed/agility then AC could have a pretty good season.

I like what AC has returning, esspeically the Crowder twins. I think the Rebels could top the 7 wins from last season. Im going go out on a limb to say this is the year they beat Pikeville. Good Luck Rebels!

You said it right. You would definately be going out on a limb , but remember limbs break easily. I know the crowder twins are real good football players, and your team is much improved, but never overlook the PANTHERS.:

If you take a closer look, MVP2 is only an observer and not from Allen Central. As far as the Rebels overlooking the Panthers-don't worry-I think AC will be ready to play but they won't be overlooking anyone.

I stand corrected. And you are right- that is the mark of a good team, not to over look any team.

If some of the players don't transfer, Allen Central will have another decent season like last season.
Best of luck to the Rebels next season!

Allen Central is in no position to even consider overlooking anyone.

AC only had 2 seniors last year- Josh Prater and Marty Dye. The Crowders are finishing their junior year.

If the Crowder boys stay at AC...then the Rebels with be very competitive. It has been rumored that the twins may transfer to Shelby Valley to play basketball for their senior season.

So now the rumor is Shelby Valley LOL. I think thats the first time I've heard SV named in the rumors. IF they went any where with the intent of playing basketball- I would look for them to go to Pike Central and play for Johnny Martin. The way I see it- these 2 are committed to their football and baseball teams at AC. Why take a chance on messing up their last year of eligibility.

All this talk about transferring kills the sport. Don't they want to play football?

Do you think the Rebels are going in under rated? Or overlooked? I think most people on there schedule has counted their game with the rebels as a win, some where on the forums. Betsy Layne, South Floyd, Paintsville, Pikeville, Knott County, Seems like everyone is going to beat the rebels this year!
