Besides Mercer, Breathitt will be playing Johnson Central, Pburg, Sheldon Clark, Estill, Hazard, PCC, Powell, Magoffin, and LCA. the game against Mercer, Breathitt should win pretty copnvincingly. The way these boys are working in the weight room, Mercer will gas in the 4th when Breathitt will still be fresh.

It is hard to see now that Mercer Co will have a new coach, but I still think Bobcats by 2 td's.

I think this game will be closer than many expect. Breathitt should pull game out and I will quess 35-21.

Breathitt shouldnt have to much of a problume with Mercer. Mercer has a new coach, and it takes alittle while for the players to transition to the new types of offense and defense.

Mercer's depth and size will present some issues for Breathittt.. but the fact remains that Mercer will be adjusting to a new coach and won't have near the experience returning as Breathitt.

Bobcats 33-14 in a game they open up in the 2nd Half.

Nope, this will be the first year that Breathitt and Mercer have played each other since Mercer consolidated.

I am interested to see how much the Breathitt QB has progressed from his junior season. If he improved as much as his brother did from his (Justin Haddix) junior to senior seasons, there are not many teams in the state , especially in 3A that will keep up with the Bobcats.

Bull, from watching Jade in practice, he looks completly different from last year. He has put on some weight, and hi hamstring has have plenty of time to heal up. He looks like one heck of a qb.

Sounds great...Mercer is not a bad team and it will take a good game by the Bobcats to beat them, but I think they will. Does Breathitt have a quality backup QB?

Im not sure the Kids name, but yeah, the backup QB isnt that bad. I think he is a freshman or sophmore.

Huff and No we don't have a SOLID backup.If Jade goes down it will be like last year.Direct snaps to Channing.
