I think Jenkins will pull a shocker. They will win by 1 touchdown.

I agree. Jenkins will win this game. However, I am going to go out on a limb and say that they will in by two or more touchdowns.

You may have to eat some crow next Friday night after the game. Jenkins WANTS to win, and wants to win badly. I'm sure Coach Maggard will have them ready for this game, mentally and physically. ill take the hornets in this one they won last year and their team is bigger and stronger than last year 2 but i think it will be a good game

Jenkins is going to be better than people think. Phelps only beat Jenkins by one touchdown last season. In terms of numbers lost last year, they are pretty similar. Jenkins has the bench that Phelps does not. Jenkins is dressing over 40 players. I know that there can only be 11 players on the field at one time, but they will have depth that Phelps won't. Phelps will get wore down when Jenkins can send fresh bodies in. Jenkins will win this game.

I am a Jenkins alumni and a parent of kids attending Jenkins so yes my opinion is biased. I see this one being a close game with the Cavs winning in the end by a touchdown or less.

I haven't been to Phelps in years. Do they have visitors bleachers? I have a feeling that Jenkins' fan base will be a lot stronger this year. I hope a lot of people makes it to the game.

I dont see either team winning by more than 2 tds. Not very much talent on ither team and both are currently rebuilding. But i give a slight edge to jenkins.

We seen game film today on jenkins and they ant good at all not to be mean but phelps should take them...

I didn't know if they had them or not. Not being mean but that place is kinda rough. My freshman year in high school we was playing there and our bus got shot at on the way out. My uncles car had its windows busted out over there too. I didn't know.

Thats odd because they have Phelps' game films too and they are saying the same thing. You can't judge this years Jenkins team by last years films. They had 10 to graduate last year leaving only approx. 10 returning players. They have over 40 on the roster this year. There are a lot of new players coming out with a lot of potential. Not only that. They only ran two plays last year. Their play system has completely changed. They are running more plays, new plays. Watching last years game film on Jenkins is going to do nothing to help Phelps.

I think this will be a good matchup for both teams. Should be pretty evenly matched, and could set the tone for either team...Ill take Jenkins in a close one 14-8. Good luck to the Big Green and to Phelps as well..

Whether you are talking about the film from last season or scrimmage film from this year, regular season football is much different in the ways players play and the way coaches call the games. I have watched a lot of film as a player over the course of four years of high school and two years of college and although game film doesn't lie, it does have a tendency to stretch the truth a little :lmao:
