Anything is possible. They can't overlook anyone. They will have a descent test next week with Jackson County. This will tell a little bit. Nothing like district, but heck fire win every game except for week 9 and I will root for you all.

Well it is very possible and alot of people will love to see it happen around here this is the year allen central go out there and play your best and prove to everybody that your not a nobody team anymore allen central this is the year go prove your not a nobody

One game at a time Rebels. But hey- I won't be complaining if they do finish 10-0.

Could? Yes
Will? No
9-1 with a loss to Pikeville.

The schedule is in their favor and could be considerd a favorite in all their remaining games although I see them loosing to eighter Paintsville or Pikeville, 1 of the two. 10-0 is a great possibility but 9-1 is what I'm thinking. We'll see what happens though and see if they can keep everyone healthy.

10-0 would be sweet but just dont count your eggs before the hatch. One game at a time, yeah ya thumped Jenkins, thats not gonna make ya 10-0.
08-29-2009, 02:21 PM
I think they lose two games, being Paintsville & Pikeville.

Allen Central has the talent to go 10-0. It's difficult in football, especially for a small program with so few players, because of injuries and so forth, but if they can stay healthy, I don't see why 10-0 is a far reach. The Paintsville and Pikeville games will be interesting because Allen Central has struggled mightily against those two teams and I think it's going to be more of a mental issue than talent, game plan, etc. If Coach Hall can have these boys focused one game at a time, then they have a chance. They can't let past results haunt them either when it comes to playing teams like Harlan, Paintsville, and Pikeville.

I could win the lottery...

The only thing standing in Allen Central's way is themselves. They have the talent, especially on the offensive side of the football. The Paintsville/Pikeville games may be shootouts and will be exciting to watch. Get over the past, take it one game at a time and keep cool heads. Penalties were a problem for AC last night. Gotta cut down on personal fouls and unsportsmenlike conduct penalties.
One thing's for certain, their a hungry bunch and I'd hate to stand in their way.

That's interesting that Harlan isn't even being considered as a possible loss.
Allen Central did only lose to the Dragons by 40 last November.

that was with jackson out for season and one of the crowders not in the backfield because of groin injury

Everybody has players hurt.
According to the stats from the game, Hunter Crowder had eight carries for 52 yards and Logan Crowder had 26 yards on eight carries.
It was 46-6, so it's not very smart to disrespect a team that demolished you the year before and has more starters coming back than you do.

yeah, I don't see them going 10-0.... Last year was there chance to beat Pikeville, and they blew it....They will probably lose 2-3 games this year....

Anything can be possible but you got to make it that way.

How many does Harlan return?
08-29-2009, 08:12 PM
Maybe,
But heck look at their schedule. Defintly wouldn't/couldn't beat Mountain Powerhouses such as Prestonsburg, Belfry, Breathitt co. Bell co. etc.
They need to play such teams in order to rise to the top. IMO

Nothing else matters but if they have the heart and the defence and the offence then they will do it but if not it will be along year for them they need to keep there heads high and prove to everybody that they can do it and remember allen central offence wins games defence wins campionships i was a player for allen central one time and everybody was counting us out and when we lost we kept on putting our heads down and getting mad about it and i believe this is the year for them all they have to do is prove it soo come on allen central prove it to everybody and keep your heads up high everybody is already starting to believe in you all now you just gotta keep everybody believing that you can do it go out there play your hardest and seehow it pays off work hard for that 10-0 i believe in you all

I have seen these guys play, and they really have some talent.
I believe 10-0 is possible!

If they take it one week at a time and not let all this talk go to their heads, it could be possible. It's going to be a rough road, however I believe they can make it happen.
08-29-2009, 11:06 PM
7-3 maybe 8-2. which is a great record . good luck but 10-0 aint happening

Take it one game at a time and see what happens. Jackson County first...dont get a big head.
08-30-2009, 05:39 AM
STAY HEALTHY, STAY FOCUSED AND GO HARD EVERY PLAY, EVERY GAME. Play like its your last game, and beat the PANTHERS...

They WILL GO 7-3. Pikeville will drum them as usual...Harlan will def. drum them and then Paintsville will beat them. When they beat a team that they shouldn't, then I might think otherwise. But like mentioned in a previous post, because you beat a team that is rebuiling everything from the team/coaches to there locker rooms 62-0 doesn't mean that you are going to run the table.
08-30-2009, 09:04 AM
They should have good season but I don't see them going 10-0.
08-30-2009, 10:22 AM
At best 9-1 Remember they play Betsy Layne and they say they are going to win it all
