I am an Ironton graduate and former player, so Ii was cheering so hard for them cause they were faceing my new rival Ashland because of my son and wife going to Russell, but let me say this...this is a good good good Ironton football. Ashland is also a good good good football team, you play 10 times and they will split it 5-5. Yeah sure they dont have the team that they have had in the past years but come on those teams were awsome cough my senior year as well lol, but this is the best Ironton team of the last 5-6 years like someone said, and when you beat Ironton then you are a good good good team, so congrats Ashland I knew they were for real this year, but to beat Ironton wow you proved me wrong.

That's terrible. If anybody doubted the Tomcats there's no doubting them now! The ironton people said themselves this was the best team they've had in maybe ten yrs. I personally thought they were just about as good as they were last year which was pretty dang good! Either way Ashland beat a great Ironton football team an NOBODY will take that away from them with slights like that. Shame on all you doubters, Ashland flat laid the smack on the tiggers 2nd half they couldn't get it done tomcats cut off the out side for Tres Wilks he had nowhere to go in the second half! The Defense was to fast for Ironton apparently size DOESNT matter, but SPEED kills!!!

Ashland hasn't beaten Ironton since 1990.....i don't care who are you are..what they did tonite was impressive....no reason to try to down play it....no these ashland and ironton teams aren't the ones in the past, but Ashland has beaten everyone that's been in front of them...and ironton is no slouch this year....The Tomcats have great team this year...so do the Tigers....quit trying to down play it....gotta give credit where credit is do
