Nice win for Rowan but I expected it to be larger.

Boyd didn't really slow Russell down in the 2nd half but they did in the first.

If they don't get something going on offense they are going to continue to have a long season. I bet they are really not looking forward to the Ashland game this year.

Wow, Congrats RC

Boyd needs someone to step up They are trying to run the same 5 plays they ran last year with a quarterback who ran a 4.5 40. Arthur is not as fast as Wilson was and the offense is suffering from this

they slowed them down..20 - 0...just like rowan 28 -13...belfry 28 -14....most people myself included would think it'd be much worse than that....stats may be decent in those games but Boyd none the less SLOWED them down....doesn't mean anything...they are still 0-6...but for whatever reason....scores aren't terrible for a team that can't win a game...:lmao:

i'd say they still haven't recovered from butt whippin they received in Putnam last year...but my guess is at this point they aren't really looking forward to a lot of games:eyeroll:

Had Russell not took mercy on Boyd and pulled the starters they could have scored 1 or 2 more td because in the 2nd half Russell ran all over Boyd.

boyd pulled their players 2....not that it matters....and once again saying they would have score easiy 2 more tds is one those things will ever know b/c it didn't happen...and had boyd not fumbled the ball the game would have been different as well in favor of the lions...possibly having the lead at halftime so you can always play the what ifs....it's quite pointless though b/c what did happen was Russell won 20-0....nothing for the lions to be excited about...the point is once again...not knocking russell b/c they won handily, but belfry, russell, rowan, raceland, whoever did not beat boyd like most people would have thought...myself personally thought rowan and belfry would have put of 40 points on em, but a win's a win....i'm just saying it's interesting how they keep the score within relative shot of making a game out of it....now when they play Ashland that may very well change...and lawrence as well

Yeah BOyd gets beat, but not like a school who hasn't won game all year...they compete and come up short, but they keep the score respectful enough not to lose any dignity....but that only takes you so far...i just wonder how much longer they can keep up their spirits...i'm telling if they held onto the ball...they could have at least 2 wins this year....i've never seen a team fumble away so many legitamite opportuinites to compete and win game after game...tape the ball to their hands or something:ChairHit:

haha ok...22-0..my bad man.:notworthy..my point is still the same.....which is Boyd likes to lose each game by at least 2 scores, but no more than 28 pts allowed....each game is a loss, but not a bad or embarrassing one..its just funny to me that's all :moon:...............they seem like a very good JV team....:lmao:.......i really am starting to feel bad for them..i'm not sure they'll win another game this year...

Lions will win their first game, Raiders need to work on their team speed, Rams handled them easily a couple wks. ago.
