I don't know anything about Matewan. I tried looking for their record and whatnot online but couldn't find anything about them.

Don't know anything about them either this year. They usually are a decent team, or at least have been in years past.

We played them a few times this summer and i know you cant really tell much from passing league.
The blackcats should roll in this one but with it being at Matewan im sure that will play a factor in it. But with that said I think they will come out and beat Matewan.

P-burg shouldn't have many problems in this game. Matewan is a smashmouth team and their line looks slow from videos I've seen on YouTube. P-burg should win by 3+ touchdowns, but like someone said above, its at Matewan - anything goes there from what I've been told.

Easy win for Pburg. Matewan is a solid small WV team. However they seem to have a limited play book and limited numbers.

Matewan used to be state contenders every year back in the 90s. It could be more of a game than what you think depending on how strong they have remained.

Actually Matewan has 2 that transfered from Belfry.1 last year and 1 this year.

Yogi Kinder has the moral standards of the common slug. He has numerous black marks against his character on a wide array of different issues, they even ran him out of town once. He wound up in Rocky Mount, NC... things didn't go too well (meanwhile Matewan struggled) so he came back and suddenly Matewan welcomed him with open arms.

As for the home cooking. I don't blame that so much on Matewan as WV in particular. That state has without a doubt the most inconsistent officiating crews you will ever run across. Some of the most bizarre high school football calls and situations I have ever witnessd has came from WV.

Pburg may see an officiating crew who literally calls every penalty,or they may see a crew who literally calls nothing, or it may be a pleasant mix of both where thy will call everything on one team and nothing on the other Wink

i know i saw them play KCC in a scrimmage before the season and they didnt look that good! but KCC had some players that didnt dress!
