Ha! Ha! Good lord, how many more weeks of this? maybe we should just combine the two teams and take on america! LOL!!! you guys are too much!:lmao:

I think you're right. I don't think we'll run it up that much on you guys. lol
In all seriousness, this one should go down as another classic just like last year. This game decides the state ship! What a game it should be........
10-22-2009, 01:44 PM
If it doesnt go down like that, we should talk the coaches into neutral turf, if nothing else the gate money would be worth it to both teams!

I wish it was on neutral turf. I know Boyle will be ready for us up there. If we lose we'll just go ahead and congratulate them on another state ship.

Would be an awesome game!! But this would be one game that Bell won't win! All you Bell Co faithful can argue against it but Boyle is a powerhouse!! I would have to say:
Boyle:31
Bell:27
Boyle:31
Bell:27

How about this. Why don't Boyle and Bell just forfeit their last couple of games, join forces, and bus to other 4A games around the state. They could ride in a fleet of buses, dress in black and blue uniforms and call themselves the "Bruise Brothers" or the "Killer B's". They could just stand around the field while the game is being played and (just like in rasslin) interfere in the games until they all just finally rush the field and dance on the logo, strut and posture, and just be all up in everybody's face. Do that all the way till the championship game and then declare themselves co-champs. :1:

I think we are getting ahead are we. We still have 2 reg. season games left plus 3 playoff games. Don't get me wrong, I think both teams will meet in the semi. But funnier thing have happened and I don't want to be the one to jinx it. I think I'm going to stay away from commenting (maybe) on this until it is a reality. I believe that we will meet again in 6 more week. Good luck to both teams.

I wish we was a powerhouse. Dang it.
You're right. Bell will just have to face it. We've already lost the game.

Why don't we all petition both schools to schedule a regular season series between the teams? Maybe the third game of the year. It should be a decent game every year and most years one of the top games in the state. That way the argument gets settled every year and like most good rivalries both teams will win roughly have of the games, so both sides get to do plenty of bragging. With realignment / reclassification always a possibility, there is no guarantee that they will even have a chance to meet each year in the playoffs.

Bell still has a tough row to hoe.
Rd 1 Greenup
Rd 2 Rock/Greenup (IMO Rock)
Rd 3 Knox/Law. Co. (IMO Knox)
Boyle will have to get by Lex Cath the rest is just dress rehersial.

That certainly wasn't a "powerhouse" prediction. If you think Boyle is a powerhouse, I would have expected a larger margin of victory.

Great idea. And more than likely both coaches would be all for it. They like to play good competition. I would love to see it.

This one will be too close to call if it becomes a reality. Both teams seem to be very powerful. Who knows maybe we will get to see.

last year, Bell's run to state champs last year was a combination less than 10 points the last 3 playoff games;
2008 Class AAAA State Championship: Bell County 15 Bulitt East 13
2008 Class AAAA State Sem-Finals: Bell County 17 Boyle County 15
2008 Class AAAA State Quarter-Finals: Bell County 19 Knox Central 14
I honestly believe that Bell will either have difficulty in the Region finals or the state semi-finals. Either way it goes I'm looking for Bell's tank to short out before December based on How crushed the last 2 opponents were before Bell made that magical season come alive. No doubt Bell County is a really good football team, If they do it again, they do it again but if they don't do it, they don't do it. My pick overall is Boyle County in this one overall. I know a win is a win and a loss is a loss, the scoreboard indicates that no matter what but there is always a story of mistakes and stats that will always be there to controvert or conversate that made the result happen.

We all know that both teams have a great running game and great defense which makes the clear differential with other teams if the two power house teams come together the difference will be speed and the passing game which was the difference maker of last years semi game. Bell is the superior one in this possible match-up. I can honestly say, very rare will you find the loaded backfield and speed that Bell holds. Still a premature match-up but Bell wins 28 to 14
10-22-2009, 08:04 PM
they would be a lot of scoring IMO i would take Bell
Bell-49
Boyle-48
IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO SEE A HOME AND HOME SERIES BETWEEN THE TWO AND WHAT THE HECK ADD LEX CATH TO BELLS SCHEDULE THAT WOULD BE FUN THEN AFTER A FEW WINS EVERY YEAR BELL WOULD GET MORE RECOGNITION
Bell-49
Boyle-48

Do you really believe that two of the best defenses in 4A would give up 49 and 48 points?????? :please:

The passing game was a big playa for Bell last year but the biggest was their Defense creating all those turnovers and making a key stop in the 2 point conversion. To me the difference wouldn't be speed or backfield, it will be the turnovers because with even half of the ones they got last year, Bell looses that game.

That's closer to a realistic score than these big 30 and 40 point predictions.
