Final from Scottsville.
Another district title for the Patriots. Hunter York had a great game tonight on the ground. I believe I saw where he rushed for around 140 yards this evening. I was glad to see Zach Tabor catch two touchdown passes tonight. I was pretty disappointed in the rush defense that allowed probably close to 200 yards tonight. All in all, a win is a win and the Patriots are 9-0, have another district title under their belt, and have a first-round bye in the playoffs.
Congrats Pats and keep it up!

Russell County gave ACS all it wanted and there were two very questionable calls in the 2nd QTR that changed the momentum of the game. I'd like to see these two teams play on a neutral field with quality officials.

The two calls may have been very questionable, but I don't know that it changed the momentum that much. The real disagreement I have with your post is that there should be no question who is the better team. ACS was favored coming in and won the game by three touchdowns while having an off night. I'm not knocking Russell County whatsoever, they have a great football team and played a great game last night. I'm just saying that ACS is on another level right now. When you look at the resume' of both teams, you would have to agree.
The officials weren't great, I'll give you that. But I really don't think the officials had anything to do with the outcome of the game. If the officials were top notch, the score would still have been about the sane as it was last night.
