There are some pretty young coaches here in the Mountains, I was wondering today. Who is the youngest? I know of a couple that are pretty young compare to some of the greats like Halcomb,Hilton, Haywood, and Larkey.
Haddix-Perry Central (26)
Allen-East Ridge
Peck-Phelps
Parsons-Betsy Layne

We have some young coaches doing some great things with the football programs in the Mountains, I hope all have success.

Coach Haddix Def. has prolly the most success out of the list. I wouldn't mind to see Perry go deep in the playoffs with him.

Haddix is one of the best at getting his players to play hard and do what he wants them too, maybe its that he relates too themvery well no hollering, cussing just getter done attuide all working togeather(great with young adults and younger kids) and they believe in his coaching ability,he had a lot of people doubting him when he took this job and he loves it when they do,many of us fans were excited when Haddix was named Head Coach cause he was a loacl yong man we watch in high school knew he had the ability and most of all he was a winner, fans that knew him knew that it could happen right here at PCC with the right coach cause we love our playersand had many good players go through and didnt have the right coach now with Haddix at the Helm and coaching staff looks like the puzzle is in place ..the adminstration needs to take a look at what Haddix has done and make sure he is satisfied and he will be around for a long time.Haddix has lots of football knowledge cause he has played at the college level and brings a complete package(Offense and Defense he coaches them both every game) to the high school level and it has shown he knows many schemes on offense to call and he has a lot to offer in his defensive package (something Breathitt Co.Coach didnt think he could do isnt that something),that was the missing link at PCC ..in his scheme the DEFENSE knows whats needed and they go do it..We PCC Fans are so proud of this TEAM as they have done so well,in all you have too have the players and then the coach can do whats needed... GO Doers beat Clay Co..

Haddix came into a great situation at PCC. I wonder how he would do at a school like Jenkins or somewhere?

I wasn't trying to take a shot at Jenkins, just using them as an example. Such a team like what Allen and Peck both came into.
