1. Harlan County - easily best team
2. South Laurel - easily second best team
3. Whitley County - Think this could be their year
4. Clay County - their style of play is just tough to play against
5. North Laurel - losing their big girl hurts them bad
6. Pineville - maybe high, but King will really help them inside
7. Williamsburg -seem to return a lot
8. Harlan - the loss of stud PG just too much to overcome
9. Corbin - The Redhounds will just keep getting better
10. Knox Central - Somebody had to go here

Go Colonels !

New rankings, based on last night.
1A. South - I think over the long haul, they are better
1B. Harlan county- loss of Gross hurts bad
3. North - As good a top 6-7 as anyone in Region, just no posts
4. Whitley - Solid, lots of weapons
5. Clay - always there when it counts
6. Pineville - Maybe BEST TEAM EVER HCS, haha
7.Knox Central - gonna keep rising
8. Williamsburg - they've struggled with bad teams....
9. Corbin - playing better
10. Harlan - lost to Williamsburg in a scrimmage and to KC last night, by 30 to North. Barely hanging on here

According to sources Ron Edwards Head Coach at Middlesboro resigned his coaching position 2 days ago. Will remain at MHS as teacher, That is all I know. Can anyone shed some light on what happened.

I agree. Harlan Co and South are by far the best in the 13th region.

Heard that the one of the assistant coaches, which is also the middle school coach, stabbed him in the back and pulled some kind of coup to get him fired or forced to resign because she wants the job? He didn't get much support from the administration so he's out? The administration has put her in his place? Sounds about like Middlesboro if true.

If you read between the lines he blasted someone in the news paper. Good man , wish him nothing but the best.
#43
Middlesboro way.
