Pikeville vs. Belfry
Only a few hours until gametime, should be a great game, everyone make there way over to CAM Stadium tonight, you wont be dissapointed...
Belfry 35-22
Ohhhh Baby it wont be long now. Just a few short hours until the great battle at CAM stadium. Can the Panthers devour the Pirates or will Belfry make the Honaker boys and their crew WALK the PLANK. I think is awesome that we have two great teams in Eastern Kentucky one team will lose tonight but eastern Kentucky high school football lovers will win. I hope both teams stay healthy, plays to the best of their ability, and acts with class.
Belfry 28-12

It's not like they started having more students just over the past 15 years.

not back in the early 2000's before they won state when the games were played at Vipperman and they had that sideways school. Then williamson formed with them and now are a 3A school with an outstanding football program
What, David and Corey? Look, David moved to KY. Had he stayed in Matewan he probably wouldn't have gotten a D1 scholarship. Hence, he probably wouldn't have gone to college, and he'll be able to make something of his life now.

Corey paid out of state tuition to go to Belfry when Williamson had 15 kids on their team. Do you blame him for not wanting to play on a team like that?

So there's 2 kids in the last 5 years at Belfry. 1 from Williamson, 1 from Matewan. As it stands now, there are more kids at Belfry who would be at Matewan than there are from Williamson... they just aren't playing football.

Edit: If you're talking about Doug and Maydo, both their parents are divorced, and both their mothers, who have (or had, in Doug's case) custody of them, live in South Williamson, which is on the KY side of the Tug. Both played their entire middle school days at Turkey Creek.
