But Ivan mcglone is one of the best coaches to ever walk a sideline. It isn't like Russell is this great all state athlete producing school. But he almost always wins the district even when those great players leave. And if great players make any coach look good then how come Dixie Heights has had losing seasons even though there qb zeke pike went to auburn? Ivan always competes for districts and regions. Has put Russell on par with the other schools in the area and has appeared in 3 state title games so I bet he can coach circles around you anyday. His style may not be the flashiest but the man wins football games. He is a legend from our area an is to be honored for the work he has done with the young men of that community. So shut up you putz.

Out of shape players, not renewing the rivally with Raceland, playing in one of the weakest districts in the state....there sure is a lot to criticize....
Oh, and it's 'know'....not 'no' when you used in the context you were attemping to use it in.....just sayin'.
We are not related.
I agree if we don't renew with Raceland that's a horrible decision. Like you get to choose your district. Was it the weakest district when it was Russell, Belfry, Johnson Central and Sheldon Clark? Or how about when it was Russell, Mason County, Lloyd Memorial and Newport? That's a weak argument.
I apologize for the typo. I know the difference between know and no. I didn't mean to confuse you. Just sayin....

Look at the scores of those games. Look at the last five years, blowout loses in playoffs to end the season, can't compete with Ashland, lose 4 of 5 to Iceland. Thank God er don't plus Fairview.

We haven't had as much talent the last 5 years as what we had from 2000-2007. Russell fans are spoiled. We haven't had a losing season since 1997. Nobody else in the area has been that consistent. Not Johnson Central, not Ashland Blazer, not Raceland, not even Ironton.
Ironton was a better team. They wore Russell down. It happens. Sometimes you just gotta congratulate the other guy for being better. Ironton, plain and simple, was just bigger, faster and stronger.

It's losses not loses. Didn't know Russell played Iceland that's some serious travel cost though. And the the sentence" Thank God er don't plus Fairview" is just so awful that I can't even make fun of it I only feel sympathy for you.

It's hard to avoid typos if you are on a phone most of the time like I am. I would assume mighty dog is the same. You get in a hurry sometimes what you meant to type comes out pretty funny.
I knew what he meant.

Thanks for having my back football, even though we may disagree on a lot. I am on my phone and usually in a hurry. I believe every one knows what message people are trying to convey, but theres a smart ass in every bunch. I bow to his always perfect spelling and sentence structure.

It's FBALL damnit! I never said what the F stood for. Lol
Our feline friend had my back and he is usually very reasonable. I think his comments were made because of old_school_hero nitpicking my earlier post because I typed no instead of know. But I won't speak for him.
We can be reasonable and still disagree.

No I don't hate the coaches, just not much love for some. That is water under the bridge, unless????? I just dont wear MAROON colored glass, never have and never will. I was just saying that is the same thing every year. Poor discipline getting the kids ready in the off season., and the coach jumps all over the player during the game for the things that should have been taken care of long before Aug gets here.

FBALL aren't you a moderator, if so, with your language on BGR. You should ban yourself for a year??????? class. I think I was reminded that players read this web site also about a year ago, just for call it as it is. I just call it like the majority of the fans see it, every Friday night.

They made the decision to make all language acceptable. You can say whatever you want. So I will not be banning myself.
I haven't said anything the players shouldn't read.
Your negativity is far worse than anything I have said.
I don't care to criticize if needs be. If we drop Raceland that is a horrible mistake in my opinion and I have made my feelings on that clear. Do I agree with play calling and clock management all the time? Nope. But I don't berate the coaching staff at every turn.
I don't dislike you and it's nothing personal but your history and dislike with this staff shows with every post you make. It just gets old reading the same thing every time.
