No, NCC is not on Beechwoods level. Did you not read my post. There are several 6A and 5A schools that are not on Beechwoods level either! Beechwood is an enigma and not the norm.

Exactly. NCC looks good playing no one. But, NCCfan is ignorant to, or blinded, by the fact that they're playing no one. NCC can't beat a decent team. Did NCC beat a team that's still playing other than Holy Cross? And the same with Holy Cross. The teams they beat were done playing weeks ago.

Here's a little nugget about how the teams on NCC's schedule performed in the post season.
Dixie first Rd. loss 14-28
McNick did not qualify
Campbell Co. 2nd Rd loss 7-20
Simon Kenton 1st Rd loss 0-72
Bishop Brossart-did not qualify
Holmes-1st Rd loss 20-66
Lloyd- 2nd Rd loss 0-49
Newport - 1st Rd loss 13-38
Beechwood - NCC got beat by them
Gallatin Co- 1st Rd loss 0-56
Again, these are the facts. Did NCC beat a decent team? I don't think so.

Great Point! Highlands beats an Elder team without 15 kids, oh thats right they didn't make the playoffs either they must be weak for a high school team,but highlands barely pulls one off. I guess Highlads can say they do have 1 quality win Boyle since you have to throw out the Covcath win they are in the same district. I might be wrong, but I don't see anyone on their schedule still in the playoffs after that.

I did forget Western with thier 5 losses and highlands 56-0 win on them, but they are still in the playoffs. I wonder if Beechwood would beat them or even if NCC could pull an upset on Western. Western is ranked 20 in 4A right above holmes.

To answer your question, NO! Ncc couldn't beat Western. They eeked by Holmes. Did Johnson Central struggle with Holmes? I put out a fraud alert on NCC. Somerset may get them if Holy Cross doesn't.

I don't believe I've said anything that isn't true. Not everyone has to like it. I didn't say NCC wouldn't win the title. I simply said "NCC hasn't beat a decent team this year". I believe that to be true. I also said "NCC cancels games at the last minute". That is also true and there are multiple examples. I said I root against NCC. That is also true. I also believe NCC's better days are behind it.

This would be the biggest upset of the year between 2 NKY teams. Even if CovCath beats Highlands because everyone in NKY expects that game to be close like last time.

well wideleft has got a point you could drop dixie or holmes and pick up highlands and if you can man up and play'em and try to beat them get some respect and shut wideleft up until then ncc is just going to be the 5th best team in nky when they want to be number 1

I seriously doubt that would even shut Wideleft up. He'll always find something to complain about with NCC. I'm not a big Highlands or Beechwood fan, never have been, but last year I rooted for them both, and was proud to say that Highlands was from our neck of the woods last year when we were at state. It's just a shame that people have so many jaded feelings towards a school and it's players, students and fans that they want to see them LOSE all the time. Why can't people just be happy that we have good schools, football programs and fans up here, that respresent NKY very well at state? NKY was represented very well at state last year and will again represent very well this year, whether it's NCC or Holy Cross, I'll be cheering them on, Hell, Highlands too, I guess!! lol

I agree 100%. Well after this game that is. It is goibg to take agreat effort from Holy Cross to win this one. I think they have it in them. Offense is runnibg smoth and I believe it will cause NCC some issues. Defense is on fire. NCC showed some wholes, guess what, the coaching staff saw them to. The wholes have been addressed, now the kids have to run the game plan. I would love to see nothing more than Holy Cross win this in a blow out. But that isnt going to happen. HC by 3 or 4. GO INDIANS:Thumbs:
