I agree with you. Bell County has a lot of pride, a good coaching staff and good players and will make this a competitive game.
Comparing scores can be deceiving, so I wouldn't place too much emphasis on how each team did against Wayne Co.
Corbin 28 - Bell Co. 14

Log Mtn and home playoff at stake will make Bell that much tougher. Corbin has better talent and depth. Bell has home field and better coaching. First half will be tight but the hounds will wear them down late. 35-21 Corbin.

EXCUSE US FOR HAVING TO DO SO BUT EVERYONE THAT IS RUNNING THAT MOUTH ABOUT US PLEASE GET UR PUNCH LINES AND JOKES IN CAUSE NEXT YR IS COMING! GO CATS!!!:Cheerlead
Corbin will be loaded with seniors next year. They should be better.

Log Mt makes a difference as all home games do in High School Football. Corbin has a better team then I have given them credit for all year. Bell has had one bad showing and played a tough schedule this year. This will be a big task for the Bobcats, this will be a really good game regardless of the out come, closer than most would anticipate.

Something about that place (Log MTN) hearing the team come out of the locker run, cleats on the concrete, and knowing that you as a player for one of the top ten programs in the state of KY over the last 23 yrs (IMO). Culture and tradition in sports is a powerful force!
I would hate to see the games thats been played on that mtn.. Where on paper/to the eye Bell didnt have a shot but folks thats why we play the game.
Its not in their blood to  see you at game time.

You're right, Corbin will be good next year as well. I believe they will lose 2 starters on offense and 5 from the defense.

Bell County wins this one. They got 2 weeks to prepare and will get things lined out. Corbin hasn't beat Bell in a really long time and I believe the Bobcats wins a close one. I will be very surprised if its not a close game.

Good point Trenches07!!
Bell will be Bell...and on Log Mountain, too. I don't see more than a score between them, but I do see Corbin coming out the victor in this game. If I'm wrong, I won't be shocked.
Gut.....how well do you know LadyCat??? Hmmmmmm.......

Gut nobody will agree with you b/c you have no clue! How can bell be worse next year when they start 7 sophomores and 4 freshman. We only have 6 seniors?? You have a terrible case of bell envy. Get over it!!!
:biglmao:
Well, with Dudley coming to Whitley next year, I guess our envy will be no more :hilarious:
Oh, and Bells horrible. Said it in June, still holds true now. Mills cant do what Dudley did.

well Bell Co should win since they have played a harder schedule. How can corbin be any good for beating Trimble Co and Mcreary bad, not to mention a 1 win southwest pulaski team and a2 win south laurel team, do all 4 teams have 4 wins combined

I really wasn't sold on Corbin until they played Wayne as well as they did, now like others am sold on the redhounds..I think corbin wins this one, i'm just not sure how easy it will be on Log mtn with Bell having two weeks to get ready for it. Mills is a good coach and will do all he can to have the Bobcats prepared, but in the end, it comes down to the players and that's where the Redhounds will have the advantage. Bell is down this year as are many others, it happens, good luck to both teams....
Corbin -48
Bell-21
Corbin -48
Bell-21

Corbin wins but closer than people think. Corbin played as best as they possibly could against Wayne. They cant duplicate that game again.

They want have to duplicate that game. Bell isn't half the team Corbin is.

I never said there was anything wrong with it. And to answer all the people Like big red, I do talk with several coaches every week and even alot every day. I merely spoke what we talked about, believe it or not this is some good laughter medicine for coaches around the state.
But the way Runitupthegut you question me about a statement and let a poster get by with cussing me which is against the rules you are supposed to enforce is not a good example. 1. Don't threaten or personally attack another person on this site.
Dont come talking trash with me just because you are a bad mod. And thats not a personal attack, thats just me stating a fact. Clean up your house before you question others.
Go Big Red being this is not against the rules and nobody is enforcing them: SCREW YOU, you punk.

Wayne is a great team this year but Corbin absolutely DID NOT play as best as they possibly could against The Cardinals. Sure, Wayne had a lot to do with that but Corbin shot themselves in the foot numerous times. Missed assignments, bad snaps, and slips in awareness are self inflicted and those were aplenty 3 weeks ago.

Now back to the people who matter!! I think Corbin played a good game against Wayne but not even close to their best. Wayne could not stop the run and I don't see how Corbin could have played worse on defense. IMO Wayne played the better game and won we just hope to see them again. First we have to go on log moutain and play a great football game to come out with a win. Can't wait for Friday night!!!
GO BIG RED!!!!

Whether you Corbin folks like it or not you lost. Corbin played as well as they could have and lost. You continue to make excuses and I never brought this game up you all did, in a Corbin/Bell thread which shows that that loss stings and its left a mark( which I love). Everything is a excuse with you guys. The Bell fans never made a excuse when we played but they are much classier than you guys. Im just tired of all the trash you all talk and cant back it up.

Dude! You have no class! We are on here having legitimate conversations about 2 very good teams. I believe in rooting for your team, but not trashing others in the process. There is a difference between disrespect and simple trash talk. IMO you crossed the " proverbial" line. Good luck to all the KIDS that leave it all on the field. Not on the message board!

What is Wayne County. 2-30 against Corbin all time?
If you want to talk about backing it up, talk about how Corbin didnt lose a game in your district for a decade before the realignment.
Nobody said anything about Wayne not being a good team, but if you believe Wayne is going to walk to the state semis you are sadle mistaken.
