In his 4 years at the HS level, I believe he has more L’s than W’s.
25-8 and 19-12 last two years.  Not too bad with a close loss to hazard in region.  I think he turned the program at knott around

And lost to Jenkins in district finals who they’d just beat by 20.

Let’s be honest a real here. Casey Huff lost to JENKINS. If anybody hires him, they obviously don’t care about wins and loses at their program. I’m not trying to downgrade him but completely being ?. Floyd Central don’t care about making it to state and basketball is not a priority for them. Otherwise they wouldn’t accept a coach as their head coach that couldn’t beat JENKINS. Come one people, let’s keep it ?!

Always the coaches fault for the loss? Knott was out a starter this game also people always just want to blame coaches for a loss and not their poor little baby’s fault so it’s easier to give the blame to the coach lol. ACCOUNTABILITY!!!

I don’t recall seeing Casey Huff out in the floor playing for Knott. Didn’t see him miss a shot. Jenkins was a pretty solid team from what I saw. And sometimes small schools like JENKINS can be pretty good.

Turned the program around?? Are you serious?? He took over a winning program from a legendary coach and you say he turned it around?? Wow.

I agree with you on taking over a decent club but I don’t think he did a bad job. I think there was some young kids coming into high school that would’ve helped him this coming season too. Can’t take a lot away from him and expect a region championship when you have teams like hazard had and with one hell of an athlete in Sperry and the role players breathitt had. This season coming I think you would’ve saw knott take a step forward but now that huffs gone the real question is, do all of the kids currently on the roster return or do some follow him?

No matter what let see what happens today, if fc even post the job and no matter what happens huff would be a decent candidate. There will still be others that put in for the job if they are even post it.

Meeting with candidates while the current coach hasnt been fired yet.......Let me give you some advice Casey and any other Floyd County coach. RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! If they will do it to the current coach they will do it to you.

I wonder if coach huff and Floyd central know about the Justin Johnson rule? This rule was made after Perry central hired Kevin spurlock and Justin Johnson also came from the same school. The next year KHSAA made a rule saying you couldn’t do this anymore so if huff does get the job any player that transfers from knott to Floyd would be ineligible by rule

One Time Free Transfer Rule will nullify the Kevin Spurlock Clause.
