If you do not know Coach Reigns he was the state title coach at LCA 2009 before he was ran off , due to a school policy. If you know the story , he was setup up by Haters.. I know the man and he is tough but an amazing coach ..
I've heard he might be coming around the tri county area down here

Garrard Co. should look into new coach as well.

Norman at Valley.

Id say Pike Central will be looking for one if all the allegations turn out to be true.

Will the Pike Central Coach recover from all the Press?
If the KHSAA rules that PC is guilty, who all will take the heat at PC?

Well as being around this situation before, It really puts the AD and the football coach in hot water. This press has absolutely made ther Superintendent look really bad. If this honestly is true , it is nobody's fault at all besides their own. I look for this to be a house cleaning issue. There will be alot of changes with that school and will really set them back a couple years progress if true. It would be a very bad situation to be in. Exp since the KHSAA gets to play god, and be knee deep full of politics but besides that evident FACT. For the most part I think , they should rule with a iron fist. But should it be good for them to have this much power. I.e Highlands and their debacle. But It has to be somebody I guess. We really need to take a peek at this power system , and install some kind of checks and balances...:HitWall::HitWall::HitWall:

Hey Kosar,
Whats going to happen at GC. Copley staying or jumping ship? Looks like tough times for the Muskie football team for the next couple of seasons. Gonna take a special coach and some patient fans to keep the program a float.

A new vacancy is in....Henry County High School. Its come out of the KYFB football server..
11-10-2010, 04:08 PM
And another.... LOGAN county...will be opening after dec 6 .. official
11-10-2010, 06:46 PM
Logan is open. It might not be posted on the khsaa site just yet but it should be soon. The article was in the bowling green paper last week about Proctor stepping down.
11-10-2010, 07:46 PM
What kind of job would the Logan County be??? I hear they dont invest very much at all into any of their programs.. But I am like 5:Thumbs: hours away, So I might be talking out my butt...
11-10-2010, 09:44 PM
So will Shelby Valley be looking for a new coach ?
11-10-2010, 09:53 PM
Why would Shelby Valley be looking for a new coach? They had a down year...this ain't the NFL.

Just going by what others have posted on this site. Seems like there are a few people calling for a change at valley.
I agree that Kentucky high school football is not the NFL but if your coach has a problem relating to parents, players, fans, boosters, alumni, people in general than you usually have a call to make a change. :ChairHit:

I'm not sure on exact numbers of the budget and other money invested, but from my knowledge it's comparable to most places around the state (not overly bad, but not blowing your socks off either).
The situation at Logan County is that whomever comes in is fighting an uphill battle from the word GO as far as being able to compete. They are in a 5A district with Bowling Green, Warren Central, Greenwood and a competitive Barren County. Then, if that's not enough, throw them into a region with Christian County, Hopkinsville, Owensboro, etc.
It's like a lot of county schools in the fact that you are going to fight your butt off just to be .500 4 or 5 years, to have a 8-10 win seaoson if fortunate enough once every 6 or 7 years.

A down year :flush: Norman as made a joke of the SV team. He has no clue how to coach. There is not a coach that does not have the ummm 2 plays down to an art that he calls and plays. He has no clue how to coach :dontthink Someone spoke earlier about a coach hiring family. His wife is a paid assistant. He also has his brother (?) and oldest son coaching, well there. Parents complained about the last coach cussing kids and this man's mouth is pure filth and dont know the truth if it hit him in the face. He is a nobody and should never have been brought to this community.
11-11-2010, 08:50 AM
Wow...didn't he do well his first year at SV? I don't know the guy or how he is as a coach...just going on Ws and Ls.
11-11-2010, 09:06 AM
Paul Raines will be back Coaching in KY soon. SL would be my bet.
Lots of news will be breaking after the State Championships, that is usually when all the s**t hits the fan.

Raines is a madison county guy... I really doubt SL since the Madison Southern job is open...Aslo if your talking about South Laurel... Welch will have one more year... He is going to do some coach cleaning.. They will be better in 2011

He was also a Williamsburg guy, Hazard guy and Lexington guy.
I don't see SL keeping welch around but maybe they will. I don't think they care much for football anyway.

yea this is true.. if they really cared about football id drive about 25 miles north; to Rockcastle and i would hire Tony Saylor as my head coach.. i mean just imagine Larkey at NOrth Laurel and Saylor at South...
11-11-2010, 11:12 AM
id also like to see SL give Scotty Russell a chance....
11-11-2010, 12:39 PM
no way Tony Saylor would ever go to laurel and put up with the parents or administration there. From what I hear they do not care too much about football or sports in general.
