I agree, when Pburg beat them in 92' they broke Danville's 42 game winning streak. That was a special group of players and it would be nice to have some of those players in the field house on Friday night.

I'll take the Blackcats in a close one. Danville, Somerset, Lex. Christian, and Middlesboro are all within a touchdown of each other in a very powerful district. Two fake punts and an onside kick kept Middlesboro in the game. For P-burg, with the exception of a few games, this group of young men seem to find a way to win.

Actually it was '93.
Danville won AA in '87, '89, '91, '92, '94. Quite a stretch of success. :Thumbs:

This is going to be a great game. If P'burg plays sound on the defensive side of the ball its theirs to lose. Hard to win in P'burg but Danville can certainly do it. I think the Blackcats sneak one out at home late.

With the unending difficulty for the P-burg R side defensive front in playing the run... and propensity of the defense to give up big plays and commit penalties on 3rd down, I believe:
Blackcats score 40 - >90% likely win

On 10-12-12 they where only 9 points better. I'm not disagreeing with your statement of Danville being much better though. I do feel they are much better than Middlesboro. It also took 2 fake punts and an onside kick for Middlesboro to remain in the game against Prestonsburg. I understand that those plays are part of football, but lets be honest how often do you convert on all 3 attempts in a game.
I think it will be one hell of a battle tonight. This Blackcat team is playing with a lot of heart & have the talent to back it up.
