I am at a bit of a loss to see how one could come away from Corbin's performance @ Wayne thinking they somehow do not play well on the road. Corbin went to Wayne's house and dang near spilt their milk. Log Mountain might mean a TD for Bell. They will need more than that.

Corbin has a great team and I believe they earned a ton of respect against Wayne. That being said I think the running clock comments and blow out comments are bad off. Bell kids will come to compete and I believe will learn from their Wayne Co. game and be ready to compete.

From what I have seen of Bell County they simply aren't very good.

Not horrible by any means...but the talent level in the backfield is significantly down and I can't remember the last time I saw a Bell County offensive line be as deficient fundamentally as the current unit.

Secondarily, Bell's numbers are way down. The KHSAA roster only has 41 players and judging from the video I have seen that seems to be optimistic compared to the amount on the sidelines.

Corbin is a solid looking team. They aren't especially impressive in any aspect, but they have lots of quality talent and a scrappy line and defense.

Not sure Corbin has the weapons needed to beat Central when they play their A game.. but it will be very surprising if Corbin doesn't win this one by at least a couple TD's.

I don't buy the Log Mountain hype either. We heard similar things prior to Bell County hosting Central and Bell County hosting South Pittsburg, TN and Alcoa. If you are not the equal team then homefield advantage doesn't matter.

It won't matter if they play like they did against Knox. I've seen Corbin play and they are by far a much better team. Even if bell brings their best it won't be enough. Corbin is just that damn good.
