Every team would like that...still not gonna happen. RAM's offense is too good for that to happen.

Hazards running back was out of shape. He constantly had to come out of the game against you guys. When he did play, he hurt you. And Beach is better, faster, and will play every snap.

No know there are 4 classes of athletes plus different coaches. Any game as far back as middle school after these kids have lifted weights and matured is irrelevant.

Beech is good. Heck he is great. But again, IDK ifhe is the best in the class. There is alot of tallent in this years class A pool. That oline makes him kiok awful good too. One thig about Beech though, he is deceptively strong. You wouldnt know it by looking at him bc he looks more like a WR. But he is tough to bring down. Very good balance as well.

He had a minimum of 10 carries in the first period. They went away from him when they got down two scores early in the second half. He also took a beating as Williamsburg was keying on him. He is a good solid back. Williamsburg would be glad to find a jersey his size next year.

Glad you guys got over the hump. It will help you next year. But, this one is going to the Rams.

Really wish I was goina be home for this one. Atleast I got to see the Rams bring home their first Regional title. A big key to this game will be who can handle the hangover. Raceland came out flat the week following Fairview. I think beating Pikeville may have gave them even more of a boost though. The fact that this Raceland team can be a little sluggish offensively, yet still be in the game against teams avg 40+ pts a game is a teatimate to their defense. Raceland is a really strong second half team. They are deadly in the 4th quarter with any kind of lead. Racelands defense and offensive line will wear down Williamsburg.

I don't believe there are any better backs in class A than Jones.

Better bring earplugs, the fans were LOUD last week and it was a cold rainy night. This week the numbers will be doubled and twice as loud

Have you seen Beach play? He may not be better than Jones, but I'll go out on a limb and say he's just as good.

Doesnt look as big.
Wburg can handle the speed, the reason Jones was a factor, and the only reason Hazard hung around, is because Jones is a big kid thats hard to bring down.
How has Raceland fared against the pass this year?

No doubt he is an outstanding back, you have the record to prove it, I just wonder what his weight is does anyone out there know?

I've been told that parking and visitor's seating are less than desirable at Williamsburg. Any truth to that?
11-24-2013, 10:20 PM
Plenty of parking for those who ask nicely.

I thought we would be playing Beechwood but, Frankfort will have to do.

Pretty well. Good amount of speed/height. Shortest db is about 5'10". Slowest runs about a 4.6 id say. Their length makes them hard to throw on. They kelt Pikeville in check. They get good pressure on the qb as well. Their redzone defense is incredibly tough.
In regaurds to Beech, he is a different kind of RB than Jones. Jones is similar to Brewer from Fairview last year. Beech is more like an Eric Dickerson style RB. Very ellusive, never stops moving his feet, great balance and vision. You wont see him truck many guys, but he can drag you 5-10 yards before he'll hit the ground. There's also Elkins, Christian, Snyder, and Messer to worry about coming out of the backfield.

Raceland is no one trick pony. Thy have many weapons i both the run and passing game. Whats impressed me te most in the last few weeks is the improvement of the LB play.
