Sizemore is about to face the best defensive backfield he has seen all year. He will have to do more than just locking on to his first read and winging it deep. Of he does that, Rams have a field day. The orange jackets are ab to see one of the biggest class A teams in the state (avg 6"3 260) across the line. Rams roll down 1-75 and lay the wood.

Pikeville's Austin Charles came into the regional championship game at Raceland averaging 130yds and 2tds passing/game. Raceland held him to 7/21 for 18 yards. Cody Estep came in avg nearly 80yds recieving/Almost 2 tds a game. They put him wide left they put him wide right, in the slot, short passes, a few deep balls, screens...he caught 4 passes ror a total 9 yards.
Raceland gave up 200+ on the ground to Hall and Charles. But they defended against the big play. Putting 7 in the box for the most part. You will see less of that and more nickel i would say, against Williamsburg. With very little ground game to worry about, Raceland shouldnt have much trouble in a Nickel defense. They covered Estep, Maynard, cody Charles one on one and the only time they got burnt was when Maverick fell.
Here's my question. Does Wburg have the ability to utilize their short passing game as a run game or do thy depend on getting a reciever at 5-10 yards and let him make a play? Or do they depend on big plays?

I heard that b4.

The only teams who had success against Raceland were teams that managed to move the ball consistently. Big play offenses havent managed to win. Ashland, Lawrence, and Coal Grove all moved the ball and scored. No one else managed more than around 200 yds total offense and 2 tds.

I think since this one is at the burg, it will be the Rams by 7.

If Raceland is to win this game the best stick to the recievers unless its a designed run because if its not then sizemore takes off and ur DBs come up to make tackles hes going to get rid to the open man because sizemore is always looking down field... Williamsburg has two excellent recievers if the Shelton and Griffith but you also have to keep your eye on Creekmore and Lowrie. They aren't throw too as much but if you lose them they make catches.. Not sure what the weather will be like for this game Friday night but id love to stay at my families because we are having thanksgiving in Whitley County this year to see this game but I just cant stay.. But don't sell Williamsburg defense short because they are very solid and quick. Also not sure how many times the Griffith kid ran out of the wildcat formation but you may see it sum as well to say some hard hits on the QB.

^^^thats what impresses me most about the Raceland DBs. They stay at home(never chasing reverses/etc), they are excellent at stoping the run, they stick with the recievers like glue.
From the 2012 videos I have watched, Wburg stays in the ACE package and like to run the MESH rts and shallow series alot. The way they run them seems to be giving Sizemore options at 5-10 yards and 2 options at 10-20 yards. Not a whole lot of deep balls being thrown. Raceland has seen this offense every day in practice since 2003, when they to adopted this offensive scheme.
What Raceland has in their hip pocket is a QB coach that ran this offense all theough HS and College, all the DBs are either also WR or QBs as well. So they know these routes and how to defend them. Defense wins championships. This game is no different. Raceland is the victor.
Rams 34
Butterflies 21(giving them an extra 7 due to homefield)

If you take them out their opponents lit rating would avg out at 57.2. I think that is important to point out because of how bad they faired against Wayne.
pm a wayne county fan an ask them, see you soon 55 and by the way blueman 44 is not me maybe you need to change your name to mysonis54:HitWall:

I think Williamsburg's line is bigger. 6foot 2 300 6foot4 265 6foot 2 270 6 foot 2 260 if Raceland is any bigger than that they are hugh

Here's Raceland's D Line:
Boggs 6'2 248
Risner 6'0 283
Manis 6'2 240
Wallace 6'1 297
Johnson 6'4 290 (rotates)
The O-Line is pretty much the same except you add in Lucas Bradley (5'11 290) at center and switch a few in and out depending on the formations.

I think that's why he said. ONE OF THE BIGGEST!!
LET'S ALL SING A LONG! My line is bigger then you line. Silly!!
Looks like both compare in size. Rams have a couple about a biscuit shy of 300. And one that is about 325. But what hasn't been told.. The RAMS line for the most part are seniors. Very experienced.

I think the forecast for Friday is dry. You guys getting any snow tonight? We are supposed to get 3-5 inches in the Ashland/Huntington Area tonight late.
11-26-2013, 01:08 PM
I expect this to be a phenomenal game. You can talk about size on both sides of the ball. The rams have DB's over 6 feet, the burg has 2 receivers over 6 feet. Both lines are big and strong, but the burgs may be a hair faster. Only a few more days and we get to watch a battle on the football field. Wburg 28 rams 20
11-26-2013, 01:11 PM
Wburg is an area where they could get 1-3 inches or 2-4. I'm hearing the rain just won't stop though. Hopefully the dry conditions will move in soon
