The first mention of watermelon was Hoot, and my post was an answer to him. I only used "people like HRV" as the types that use those terms in a derogatory manner, like you used thunderbird wine and fried chicken.

Farmmgr Wrote:You cannot lump all black people into a group. What you can do is identify race baiters and thugs. I watched the video of this kid strong arm robbing a store clerk. In my opinion a thug. Did he get what he deserved I say no but he got what he got. He got what that behavior often leads too. You cant fix stupid and stupid idiots are what you are watching on TV. That being said these stupid idiots are smart enough to know that we live in a society where being perceived as a racist is worse than being a murderer. They know as soon as you pull the race card out its card blanch and all bets are off. Whites cower down run and hide and try to convince everybody they are not racist. The issue at hand is lost. Nothing is solved and back to square one. There is a fraction of the black population that will claim racism until the day comes that they are allowed to rape pillage and slaughter with zero accountability. I as a white man who has always been around blacks, living with them as teammates and neighbors in the projects of Louisiana I have had enough of it. I think those old teammates have had enough also. We are divided more by socio economics in this country than anything, not race. Race is the easiest way to divide and always has been. Obama, Holder and the race baiters understand its easier to conquer by division. This is all about building voting blocks and power. Same as immigration. Being from the deep south I can tell you race relations are worse now than 20 years ago.
I haven't lived in the deep south but I have family down that way. One family member employs something over 40 people in small business. We've had a few discussions about the situation you mention, and he agrees with you 100%.
It's incredible when one stops to consider the line of rationale coming from the DOJ and upwards. According to them, we have a social scenario that is comprised of two mutually exclusive dynamics. First, it has been stated outright that there is justifiable and deep seeded resentment against law enforcement. And that blacks therefore, deserve a kind of government issued hall pass, to act unlawfully due to long pent up frustrations born of oppression. That very same rationale was demonstrated on Mr Obama's famous apology tour BTW. It would seem that in his eyes America, though liberator of numerous societies, has unfairly dominated world affairs. So, in the case of global terror, retribution, reprisals, murder and mayhem have been visited to our national doorstep because of our own actions. It would seem to follow then that chickens have come home to roost in Missouri.
Secondly, the Al Sharptons want to act as though all black people don't get the respect they deserve because of racial bias. (A ridiculous notion which any lucid minded person would reject out of hand IMO.) So, my observation is as follows; he and other so-called civil rights activists cannot on the one hand claim that black folks who cannot conduct themselves in a lawful and respectful manner are sort of driven to act that way because of being the victims of perceived injustices that may have occurred a half century ago, while on the other hand demand that they be treated as if they would never do anything of that sort. I mean, I guess a man's behavior would mean he could have it one way or the other, but both?
The US went through two world wars, and a number of local wars. We saw something last night that Hitler, Emperor Hirohito, Mussolini, and many other of history's oppressive villains have hoped to see. American cities going up in smoke. This is no small issue.

If anything, Obama and his cronies like Holder have put REAL civil rights movements back at least 25 years if not farther.
Elect a black president to show how far we've come (lets face it, its the reason he got elected) and then he becomes one of the worst if not the worst presidents of all time and racial issues have become worse.
Sounds like a win for liberals.

Watermelon, fried chicken, chitlings, and Thunderbird wine (as well as other cheap wines) are well known to be traditional black staples. That is truth and not prejudice and certainly not derogatory. Simple truth. But, in Obama's and Holder's America (and apparently in TheRealVille's America), the truth must be censored for the sake of political correctness.

The railroad is still trying to run over Darren Wilson in the media- particularly MSNBC and CNN. Truth is not important. The agenda is all that is important. Now they are mad because Wilson spoke to ABC (not an unbiased venue by any stretch of the imagination). The "experts" seem to think this is not the time for him to give his side of the story. Of course, we have all the racists, semi-racists, and race industry legatees going on hour after hour condemning Wilson, the Ferguson police, the legal system, the prosecutor, and Caucasians in general for what happened to the "youngster". And, of course, we have all the lily white liberal commentators fanning the flames with their leading and biased questions which are obviously intended to stir the pot of divisiveness.
Motley, TheRealVille, and a few more may not like my bluntness. However, the truth is that Wilson did his duty, He killed a 6'5", 300 pound thug who had marijuana in his system, who was rushing toward him (obviously with intent to inflict serious bodily harm or to kill hum), and who had a juvenile record that didn't include any "violent felonies" (Can you read between the lines?). Wilson acted in self defense. He did what he should have done. He did what he was trained to do. Somehow, anyone who points this out is a "racist".
In this country of Obama, Holder, Sharpton, Jackson, and the literally hundreds of others of similar persuasion, white and black, who appear hour after hour on MSNBC and CNN to spout their biased versions of the event, the truth is being lost in favor of the "agenda".
Every once in a while, the facts should stand for something of value. Now, you can call me a "racist" but the fact is I am a "realist".

Staples? I don't know what your reason for even posting that was (Well I know) The worst part of it is watching you try to crawfish out of it. It was a stereotypical comment that made any point you might have had invalid. I have eaten a lot of fried chicken and chitlings. When you don't have food you eat every part of a hog you can. More about starving than the color of your skin. I think holding a comment back like that would not fall under political correctness but more out of consideration and sophistication.

After reading the comments on this thread I am impressed. I may not agree with all but it is a conversation that needs to be had. That being said looking back at what you have added to the conversation I come to this conclusion. You are not articulate nor cerebral enough to come up with any intelligent contribution. You are an idiot. There is always an idiot in every crowed. Please don't think I am hammering you ,quite the opposite. I truly wish to thank you. Somebody has to be the idiot just happy it is you and not me.

You are quite amusing. Ignorant but none the less quite amusing. Try to withhold your feigned indignation and self righteousness. They don't wear well with you. Obviously, we have all eaten a lot of fried chicken and hog parts. But, most of us don't feel the need to wear the fact like a badge. And I suspect that you don't know squat.

I can assure you Run's no idiot. On the other hand, this idea that black people are oppressed and held down by white folks is idiotic. In the land of equality of opportunity, the cream always rises to the top. You're familiar with that aren't you there Farm? Real men always, and I mean always respect other men who will rise up and take responsibility, and that across the board. At work when the dust and the 2 by 4's are flying, it's the real men who dominate the scene. In just the same manner that black folks tend to dominate the basketball court or the football field, they could dominate America's work place if they wanted to. And they'd be revered and respected just as much as their athlete brethren.
As I said, Martin Luther was after sameness, and saneness. An America where men would be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. I'll let you in on a little secret. Men of character don't look for excuses and reasons for not succeeding, especially not in this country. And they certainly wouldn't expect to be given a pass for burning and looting the very town they live in. Do you really expect people like Harry Rex who have spent their whole life accepting the responsibility for self sufficiency and self governance not to launch a few harmless zingers in the face of anarchy?
One last point. Has it occurred to you what the true nature of the so-called protesting has been all about? They are in fact demanding that injustice be snatched from the jaws of justice. The system worked and the Grand Jury made their finding based on EVIDENCE not prejudice.

I never had much experience with people of other races growing up, but I was raised that God created all people. My parents were not racist at all so I never understood racism, but I would run into people who were racist from time to time. I would see people who would love to use the N word and would rock their rebel flags and I just thaught it was stupid. When I joined the service(Army), a whole new world opened up to me and I got to meet people from every race and color you can think of and a lot of those people are my friends for life. The one thing that bothers me about this is the fact that had this been a black cop this would never have been about race. Where is the proof that this guy is racist or am I missing something. This was a police officer who shot a person. I know a lot of people think that the police in this country take things to far with the black race but last I checked we have a lot of black police also and black officers have also had to shoot black criminals. I would also like to say that of all the races of people I met I found that you have racist people in every race. I met some black people who hated me for no reason at all and were probably more racist then any white person I ever met, but yet my best friend when I was stationed in Ft. Bragg NC was black who I still keep in contact with. When has it ever been ok to rob and be violent and then get violent against a cop and not expect bad consequences. I would like to think that if I did what this guy did the same cop would shoot me also.

You want to know why this is funny? Do you want to know why people like me laugh at people like you? Because while these idiots ravage there town, steal from each other, kill each other, and make themselves look like the scum that they are, im relaxing in my home with nothing to worry about.
I assure you, if a black cop was ever hired in this town, and he shot a white man that just robbed a store, I would applaud his efforts and hope he got a pat on the back for removing another useless piece of trash from our society. Come back when you put your big boy pants on.
