I'm not sure but I THINK Green Co. will matchup with the Danville, Bardstown, Washington Co., and Fort Knox district.

Danville is always tough, Washington County is average, and Fort Know is struggling........

This is Prestonsburg's year. This team is more than a team of 2 RBs. On offense they have Gearheart who has made some extraordinary plays for the Cats along with Sword. Jamerson and Josh Craynon have really made things happen on the defensive side causing and capitolizing on turn overs. Burchet is more patient and experinced. if you haven't seen them play I think you will be surprised about the team you will see. Have seen plays that i haven't seem the Cats run in years or if ever. These boys play as a true team. All for one. I haven't see a Blackcat team like this in a while. Coach D knows that this is his shot at championship. They are focused on Papa John's. I think they will be there

They are definatly one of the contenders for the east along with Newport Central Catholic, Prestonsburg, and DeSales.
Fort Campbell has the west locked up, they probably have 2A locked up all together!

I'd be surprised if it don't come down to Fort Campbell and NCC. Personally playing newcath when i was in high school, when they were in 1A i can attest to their physicality. from watching them grow since, i can only imagine that it has stepped up as well. If this is the match up we see, i would give it to Ft. Campbell. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see Green County and Corbin, but Ft. Campbell defense has been stifling(sp?) not much of a speller haha.

Corbin seems to be rolling along quite well. Nothing is a given but the first two games should be wins. Assuming the seeding holds serve, Prestonsburg would be the 3rd round opponent and travel to Corbin. Middlesboro could be a dangerous opponent for Prestonsburg as well in round two. I personally would like to see Newport Catholic come to Corbin and play in the semis. Last year was a whale of a game.
