IM sorry bobcats but i honestly feel this is the way it will be Boyle has a better team than last year which we beat by like 2 and Bell's team is not as good as last year our defense may be a little better but overall team is down just a tad. Sorry, if we could throw the ball it would be different when all you have is the run and defenses key on it and with the good defense that boyle supposedly has it will be a long night for the bobcat ground game the main backs both davenports john dudley even carton together well put it this way here would be Bells stats for the whole game
Bell
rushing-185 yards
Passing-6-15 for 90 yards

I think I know a little about Central Ky football. So who will give Boyle a run in the 1st 2 rounds then???
As I said Lex Cath will be the only contested game for Boyle in the 1st 3 rounds.

Man i was just going with what i know and my gut because well put it this way bell dont punt that much maybe 1 or 2 times a game so hardly any yards there and if you have seen Bell play you know they dont actually kick the ball that far down the field mainly pooch kicks and a few on sides do to lack of leg so i didnt think that Boyle would be able to get that many ST yards just my opinion though

Nope being serious and still am serious i mean its at Boyle and your taking a team that is not as good as last years and playing a team that is better than the team they had last year that we only beat by two points i mean really think about put 2 and 2 together i mean i love my Bobcats but i know when its time to give the devil his due

Now come on come on getting a lil ahead of yourself aren't you. Bell co got to get there first i think they got a date with lawrence co imo and go ahead look past us thats what we want. Wanna bring some memories back breathitt co. 42 game win streak and looking past us and no one gave us a chance in haiti's to win 42-1. I will go back a lil farther russell had an awesome team beat us badly in regular season come playoff time thought they were gonna walk over us and looked past us went to overtime and they packed it in early to. And correct me if i am wrong but didn't boyd co. Come to your place couple years ago as a 4 seed and beat you a 1 seed. Yeah go ahead look ahead to boyle but in my opinion you won't make it there and you might not even make it to regional championship. Playoff football gotta love it.

Hate to burst your bubble but this team is better than last years team. I have seen Bell play for a very long time and this bunch is very talented.
My KC Panthers will deal with Lawerence. I am glad everyone is drinking the Bulldog kool-aide.

I honestly am looking forward of Knox Central becoming a region champion in a few good years if not this year then maybe the next 2 years, Coach Mills has done a great job, Boyle is the team to beat in 4A. I'm not overlooking Bell County at all in this one it, you'll never know what will go on in November.

I have to disagree with you. Bell's defense was better last year. No doubt about it. I think the offense for Bell is better this year.

Pretty even game except for the 6 turnovers. Home, road or neutral, nobody is going to win a state-semi game with 6 turnovers. I'm still shocked Boyle was driving to win the game to be honest with you. It shouldn't of even been a game at that point.

6 Turnovers and clutch plays by Bell seem to have been the difference. Probably be the story if they meet again. Turnovers and clutch plays.
10-23-2009, 03:18 PM
It was a great game to watch as just a fan of HS football. 2 very good teams battling every second. 5 of the Boyle turnovers were forced by big hits and pressure on the QB. Neither team could establish a running game and were forced to throw.
Bell got pressure and Boyle did not, Bell had the big hits to free the ball Boyle did not. That was the storyline.
4 plays stick out to me in the game.
#1 was the TD from Mason to Mcshara, it was a play of beauty and very well set-up
#2 was the hit by JD Hilton and Billy Lawson on Mcshara to force a fumble and knock out Mcshara from the game.
#3 Mason attempts to run for the 2pt conversion in the 4th and looks like he has it and out of nowhere Cody Davenport and Lowe for Bell both hit him at the 1 and knock him out of bounds
#4 Final drive of the game for Boyle on 4th down and long after a sack by Lawson. Mason is forced under pressure to throw the ball up and intercepted by Shawnta Zachery.
Wow what a game.

Hatz Wrote:The passing game was a big playa for Bell last year but the biggest was their Defense creating all those turnovers and making a key stop in the 2 point conversion. To me the difference wouldn't be speed or backfield, it will be the turnovers because with even half of the ones they got last year, Bell looses that game.
What alot don't realize is that speed was the reason of the turn overs. When I saw the Boyle Quaterback throw the first pass last year I told my wife this kid will throw interceptions due to the time the ball was suspended in the air Bells speed could react to the ball and cause the turn overs.

Sounds like two really good teams might be meeting soon, looking forward to hearing all about it. Good sportsmanship between the posters here, hope it remains that way. Still pulling for Bell County to win the 4A championship.
If you ask me why Bell County, I'll tell you. Bell invited a TN championship team to his house and welcomed us with open arms. The fans have been great to talk to and I hope we can get back up there again or have you visit us here in Alcoa.
This is my first year on CoachT and BluegrassRivals, have enjoyed almost all of it!! Great people and fans of their teams. I know the kids and coaches appreciate all your support.

bell defense last yerar is way better than this years Putting up 8 shutouts..and only 1 shutout this year and that was last night..holding oppenents all year last year to 72 points combined.......Boyle on the other hand they are good but in my opinion bout the same as last year rees might be better but that is it...bell offense is more explosive on the ground and go ahead and think ben cant throw it that is what they want..because when he needs 2 he will get the job done no doubt..........BELL WINS THIS SLOBBER KNOCKER IF THEY BOTH MAKE IT...

I have two words for this post. Monte Merrick.I think he was the difference last year.Field position as the plaoffs get deep will mean a lot between two teams that match up so well. I truly believe if this game comes to pass that the special teams will decide the winner.
